Eddy & Amy Streeper

Eddy Streeper started in the Fort Nelson Sled Dog Association over 40 years ago. Ed and Amy are the only married couple to have ever won the prestigious Open North American Championships in Fairbanks Alaska and Amy remains only 1 in 2 women ever to win the race in 80 yrs. Ed won the World Championship Fur Rondy Anchorage Alaska 2 times and was the first Canadian to ever win it. Ed has won more races in more places in  North America then anyone in the sports history and has raced in over 100 different locations from the east coast to all across Canada and Alaska.

He and his wife Amy manage Streeper Kennels, consisting of 70-100 dogs, all a combination of many hound lines crossed with few Canadian and Alaskan husky breeds. All of the dogs at Streeper Kennels are 6 to 15 generations down from dogs that Eddy used to win many races, on one or both sides of the bloodlines.
